time Service Record

Linda Pravdin was born on the colony world of Verent in the year 2511. At the tender age of six, her life took an unexpected turn when she, like all the other Spartan-II candidates, was forcibly abducted and conscripted into the Spartan-II Program. It wasn't long before Linda found herself among the ranks of what would later become the renowned Blue Team, a close-knit unit she would be an integral part of for most of her journey within the program. Throughout the harrowing Human-Covenant War, Linda participated in numerous combat operations, showcasing her exceptional skills and unwavering dedication to the UNSC's cause.

One of the most notable moments in Linda's service occurred during the devastating Fall of Reach, where she faced heavy plasma fire and was officially declared KIA. However, it was the swift thinking of her team leader, John-117, that proved crucial. Immediately after the battle, Linda was placed in cryo-sleep and aboard the UNSC Pillar of Autumn, with the hope of potential recovery at a later time.

Her journey continued as she remained in cryo-sleep throughout the Fall of Reach and even the Battle of Installation 04, where her cryo pod was jettisoned before the Autumn crash-landed on the surface of Alpha Halo. Following the Master Chief's heroic actions, including the destruction of the ring installation and their escape from the surface, John initiated a search for other survivors. During this search, he discovered Linda's cryo pod, alongside a Pelican containing other survivors, including Sergeant Avery Johnson. Together, this newly-formed team commandeered a Covenant vessel, taking Linda with them on their journey.

Subsequently, after the recovery of Doctor Catherine Halsey on Reach, she took on the monumental task of reviving Linda from her seemingly irreversible state. Through a series of intricate surgeries and medical procedures, Linda was successfully brought back from the brink of death. Once restored to combat readiness, Linda played a crucial role in Operation: FIRST STRIKE, the final mission led by John-117 until his eventual return in 2557.

Throughout the tumultuous events of the Battle for Earth and the post-war period, Linda remained an integral part of Blue Team. She fought alongside fellow Spartans Fred-104 and Kelly-087 in numerous engagements until John once again assumed command of the team following the Battle of Requiem.
