The Siege at Kolaar was an attack on Arbiter Thel 'Vadam and his forces by Avu Med 'Telcam and the Servants of the Abiding Truth in the first major conflict of the Sangheili civil war.

FORMING UNREST

To assist 'Vadam, the UNSC sent the UNSC Infinity, the most powerful human warship ever constructed, turning the tide of the battle back in the Arbiter's favor. Most of the Servants escaped, but Jul 'Mdama's wife was killed in the battle. Jul managed to escape from ONI control and return to a Sangheili colony, were he discovered his wife was dead, fueling his desire to get revenge on humanity and the Arbiter.
