The Far Isle Rebellion was a major uprising on the outer colony world of Far Isle in 2492 that is largely cited in spurring the Insurrection. In a show of defiance to the UNSC and Unified Earth Government, the entire colony revolted against Earth rule, and when the UNSC was unable to put down the rebellion, code Bandersnatch was declared and the entire colony was razed with nuclear weapons.
