BATTLE OF TRIBUTE

SUMMARY

The Battle of Tribute was a large-scale invasion of the colony world Tribute in the Epsilon Eridani system by Covenant forces during and after the Fall of Reach in 2552.  While a smaller colony than Reach, Tribute still had a significant human presence and was a large economic engine for the Unified Earth Government.  The battle, though much smaller in scale than the force that was sent to destroy its sister colony, lasted well beyond the Fall of Reach, and only concluded at the onset of the Great Schism and the dissolution of the Covenant.
