SUMMARY
The Battle of Oban was a conflict between the UNSC and Covenant forces under command of Jul 'Mdama on the colony world of Oban in July 2558. The battle began as an assault by Covenant forces on Oban in an effort to draw out the UNSC Infinity and steal the second half of the Janus Key. The plan was unsuccessful, however, as the Infinity was able to push back the Covenant attack without taking any losses.
