The Battle of Biko was a Covenant Invasion on the colony world of Biko in March 2526.  The battle coincided with the actions of Operation: SILENT STORM, whose members had planned to use EVA tactics to board Covenant ships and destroy their fleets from the inside, but were thwarted when insurrectionists informed the Covenant of their plan. Due to this, Task Force Yama, the ships assigned to the operation, were reassigned to attack the Covenant logistics fleet at Etalan, while the colony was left to defend against the Covenant fleet. After five days of fighting, Biko’s defenses were defeated and the Covenant fleet proceeded to glass the planet.
